The Panasonic ES8109S Vortex Wet/Dry Shaver has nano technology and the hydraclean system which I’ll explain more about in a moment.
Panasonic has a great name as far as shavers go and there’s good reason for this.
It has a 13,000 RPM linear motor which means it can really handle THICK beards.
You’ll also enjoy a much more closer, smoother and comfortable shave and bette rcutting because of the fact that the head pivots from up and down or back and forth – giving you the closest shave possible.
Some men like shaving dry while others wet. This model works both ways.
Now let’s look at the hydraclean system. It actually AUTOMATICALLY keeps itself clean AND SANTIZED. A heating element is also integrated into the system which maintains peak condition of the blades and the foil.
This is a great feature if you have ever suffered from sensitive skin.
Having a great rechargeable battery is a big plus. You can do a 5 minute fast charge for one shave or charge it for an hour for the equivalent of 14 shaves.
It also can automatically convert the voltage so you never have to worry about that should you travel with it.
Now in fairness, let’s look at some pros and cons.
Of course it’s water resistant so it can be used for both wet and dry shaving and it can easily and quickly be cleaned under running water.
It also has a great cutting reach around the neck and hard to reach areas of the face.
It’s a fantastic shaver if you have a beard as it can really cut and maintain thick hair growth.
It also works well to trim sideburns and moustaches too.
Additionally, the floating head can also remove in-grown hair which really gives a smooth and clean look.
This is a very trim shaver which is also very lightweight.
It also is very comfortable to grip in the hands and is quieter than many other brands on the market.
There are only a couple of drawbacks. The travel pouch won’t actually fit the power cord in there. The power button is not in the most convenient spot which means you could accidentally turn it off while shaving.
Now let’s look at what men have to say about this shaver after buying it and trying it out themselves.
It’s definitely worth the slightly higher price for the shaving experience that this shaver gives. It’s engineered realy well, shaves like a blade razor and is one of the best foil shavers on the market.
